A diagnosis of osteosarcoma means months of chemotherapy, limb-salvage surgery or amputation – and in some cases, both, and frequent diagnostic testing to ensure that the disease has not recurred. All of this takes a toll on a young person’s ability to excel in school. As a reflection of Mason’s commitment to his education during his treatment, we have established a scholarship for high school seniors with a prior diagnosis of osteosarcoma. Applications for the coming year are available each February 1. To learn more visit: www.mcamf.org

This program provides skill training and game experience in Baseball and Softball for athletes with special needs in the Spring by local high school students.  This program is a game changer, quite literally, for special needs children , their families and the high school students that give their time each week. The children are not looked at as “special needs" and for a small period of time each week they can spread their wings, swing the bat and run the bases while being cheered on by teammates, mentors and families.  To learn more visit: www.facebook.com/Buckscountychallengerbaseball
